NYCkayaker Foundry Cove

After several years of tugging with the Village of
Cold Spring the park at Foundry Cove has finally come
to fruition.  Parking has been and will continue to be
free in the Metro North RR parking area on WEEKENDS ,
and HOLIDAYS.  During the week you pay in that lot.
This is no different than in the past. The number of
vehicle parking spaces inside the park has not
changed.  There will be an unloading area for kayakers
and boaters
then you leave and park your car. The
changes will be mostly cosmetic.   Scenic Hudson
fought a long hard battle and they did a good job. 
They should be commended.
