NYCkayaker Race around the island on 10/8

Wonderful stuff! Congrats to all involved!

And I hope maybe next year we organize a 5-boro tour!

One crazy thing the LIC Community Boathouse *might* organize for 2007 
is kayak jousting. Foam padded poles (paddles?), tandem sit-on-tops 
with one participant paddling and the other standing and jousting. Safe 
costumes and general idiocy welcome!
