NYCkayaker Ten gigs a-rowing (sans photos)

I tried to post a couple of photos of the American Star regatto a little
earlier--I guess that doesn't work on ny kayaker. 18 youth crews from all
over showed up at pier 40 today to contest the heats, and ten made the
finals (that's how many boats were in the boathouse). The winning crew got
over to jersey and back in 17 minutes. I know it's not kayaking, but
still...a good scene.
