NYCkayaker Good things happening in the Bronx

Hey All,

You might want to check-out these tentative plans for a Greenway in the
Bronx. There is already a launch site, and some people running a paddling
program at the new Barretto Park on Viele Ave. These plans call for an
additional launch site on the Greenway further East. I paddled up here a
number of times this year, and it can be really nice. The bridge to
Randall's Island, and a park on North Brother Island will be wonderful.

This will be a huge improvement to the neighborhood.
