  meet at the beacon metro north train station riverside parking lot between 9:15 and 10:15 am....plenty of free parking.....@ 10:30 we paddle across to newburgh....a brief swimmer/kayaker rescue demo...then paddle back ( with swimmers, hopefully ) to beacon.....a small after party....all wrapped up by 2:30 ?

  special note : as anyone who has launched from the beacon ramp knows, the cement part has " slip issues "...please use the wooden dock ( kayaker friendly level )
