NYCkayaker stirrup rescues?

Hi All-

About Erik's recent post, were you referring to rescue
techniques for sit on tops? The stirrups we have are
for boats with coamings, regular sit-insides.

Has anyone done anything similar with a sit on top?

For people in regular kayaks that have a hard time
getting in, we find the scoop rescue works the best.
You allow the victim's boat to flood with water, turn
it on its side, and the victim floats into it. A lot
of pumping later and you have a dry boat and a happy
paddler.

Not sure what would work best for people in sit on
tops who have trouble getting in/on.

we now have a fleet of sot's, and do public programs
with them. Any rescue techniques you find that work
well please share.

Thanks!
