NYCkayaker Access to river variation on a theme

Very funny coincidence in light of all our recent discussion about river access, of which by the way, I am a recent convert to open public launches, praise the lord, praise the lord.

A kayaker I wrote to in Chicago about another matter wants to push to gain access to the Chicago River.  She asked me what we in New York and/or Seattle are doing.  

Is there any way I can compile some of the archived back-and-forth discussion that was had on the debate about registration, open access, etc. to send her?
