NYCkayaker Demo on the hudson river?

Idea:
On the River Demonstration

Wow, there seem to be many many concerns about the use and management of our
public resources along the Hudson River.  Though I can't play a lead in
organizing it, I would attend and bring folks to a demo on the water, a
paddling convergence to highlight the important issues and concerns, soon or
in the Spring.

And or folks could do a press conference on the shore.

It's a strategy we use in the south bronx and along the waterways in our
neck of the woods and rivers. (We kayaked to the Mayor's recent South Bronx
Greenway Press Conference)
