NYCkayaker Full Moon paddle Oct. 7 and party

October is HUNTER'S MOON.
 
Let's hunt up some fun....and maybe have a party at the Depot Restaurant in  
Cold Spring afterwards!
 
Saturday October 7.
 
Foundry Dock Park...next to Metro North parking lot.
 
6:30 PM departure. If you arrive later, just paddle north and you'll see  the 
twinklings of our stern lights...we'll head to the area just north of Little  
Stony Point State Park and hang out to watch the rising...then back around 8 
or  so.
 
Twilight will end about 7PM.
 
Conditions should be about ideal......high/low temp = 62/46. See tide  charts 
at end of email below.
 
As always, a 360 degree white stern light is necessary (see local  
outfitters).
 
This is neither an organized nor competitive event. Each paddler is  solely 
responsible for themselves. 
 
Howlings....yelpings...and singing with wild abandon are  encouraged! 
Crystals and candles optional. Hot cider is always a  possibility.
