NYCkayaker best kayak available ?

True, but it¹s not the ocean cockpit that was the problem. It was just too
tight for my thighs... I even tried the Impex version of the Outer Island
with the keyhole cockpit but I couldn¹t even move. So, yes, some people
don;t like ocean cockpits, but some kayaks are too small for some people and
some are too big. It doesn¹t make the Outer Island a bad vessel... It just
doesn¹t work for me... Unfortunately...
