So I guess it would be a judgment call on the part of the officer as
most kayaks and canoes are longer than most cars, and my rear mount bike
rack would be a possible violation as my bicycles are slightly wider
than my vehicle, and the rack itself protrudes 2 feet from the back of
the car.
