NYCkayaker [administrivia] incoming winter storms

There are two major winter storms headed our way (Maryland) over the
next few days.  We've been advised to plan for telecommunication and
power outages, so we are.  Our systems are on UPSs and have redundant
network connections, but large enough events (like the underground fire
in downtown Baltimore that burned lots of fiber optic cables a few years
ago) can still take us out for a while.  If so...we'll be back as quickly
as possible.
