Costco has this on sale for $15 about $26 with shipping and tax . You can
widen the   pulleys to use for a lightweight kayak, 

50 lb capacity.

Probably work great for lightweight racing boats you want above the heavier
boats on racks. I've always wondered if any boathouse has used a rail
system, where the pulleys were in a trolley mounted on the  length of the
boathouse ceiling and they could slide up and down the length, enable safe
controlled 1 person lowering and the use of the  full height of the
boathouse.
