NYCkayaker Miami to Maine?

Ahoy NY/NJ Kayakers,

Is anyone interested in joining part of this very cool trip? The Dredgers 
can offer some storage and we'll pay for dinner at Motey's Italian 
restaurant on Carroll St / Gowanus if she visits the Gowanus Canal.

Margo Pellegrino is a young mother who plans to paddle her 20' outrigger 
canoe from Miami to Maine this summer to bring attention to the plight of 
our oceans. She has asked the American Canoe Association to help get word 
out about her trip as well as for moral and in-kind support.

For example, she won't be able to carry much gear on her boat and camping 
out will get old fast. So if someone was willing to put her up for a night 
during her trip, she would be most appreciative.

And she would like nothing better than to have company along the way, so if 
you want to paddle part way with her, feel free to do so. Read more about
