NYCkayaker Miami to Maine?

The LIC Community Boathouse and the coming World Boatbuilding Museum
are based on the waterfront directly facing the UN. Part of our
growing mission is to be a visible reminder to delegates and
Secretariat staff of the importance of marine ecology.
We recently welcomed an outrigger canoeist into our community, and he
explicitly wants to highlight the dangers faced by islands nations in
the south Pacific due to environmental damage. A few of these include
rising sealevels, acidification of oceans, overfishing, reef damage
because of unwise development, coral declines and bleaching.
We have *ample* storage space and we'd be happy to host.
Also, a number of new hotels are being constructed in LIC and a few
have recently opened. I'll check to see if any of them would
accommodate her for the good PR.
If I package this as an LIC waterfront/LIC development link-up with a
great cause, I might pull in some good support.
Best regards,
Erik
