NYCkayaker New Waterwire News: East River Agenda and Bushwick Inlet write up

Hi All,

There's a new Waterwire News edition out from the Metropolitan 
Waterfront Alliance.

One important item to highlight is the East River Agenda, and I wrote 
an item about Bushwick Inlet. As some of you know, I wrote a series of 
items about often-overlooked offshoots of the East River that's being 
published over the course of a few months. I certainly hope to wrote 
more of these items, for the entire harbor!  :)

Since learning the history of the area, when I ride my bike down 
Norman Avenue in my morning commute I always say good morning to Dirk 
the Norman! A good policy since he was known to pummel those he felt 
were rude towards him.

Also, note the MWA's item advocating the adoption of more ferries (as 
opposed to trucks and cars) as an environmental measure.
