Eric,

It depends on what large is. I've never seen an owl at Swindlers but I am
sure they live in Highbridge Park and the Cove... I have seen a number of
owls in Inwood Hill Park, including the Great Horned, the Eastern Screech
Owl, the Barn among others.... Of these three the great horned is the
largest; and many owls tend to have some white plumage on the front of their
bodies.... More info is probably needed for identification..... In the
meantime, enjoy the mystery.....
