NYCkayaker Necky Chathams stolen from 79th St.

I'm passing on the following stolen kayaks notice that was posted on the Pier 63 hold trips list. For the moment, if you have information please send it to me at bonnie13 at earthlink.net - I'm checking with the Weissmans for direct contact info for them & will add that when I get it. 

Sometime between 8PM on 7/13 and 8AM today (7/19,) our new Chathams  were stolen from Park's kayak cage at the 79th St Boat Basin. The cage lock was intact, but our two almost-new Chathams, together with their cable locks were gone. Please be on the lookout for them. #1: 17', carbon, bright yellow over white, S#: XKA80658L506; #2: 17', glass, bright orange over white, S#:XKA80707L506. Necky SN are very obvious. Should you have any news, please contact Marilyn and Ken Weissman... We'd also appreciate your passing this request on to other boards you may be connected with. $500/boat reward for recovery. Thanks.
