NYCkayaker Popolopen/Peekskill Fireworks & Festival

Dear YPRC and NYC Kayaker Members,
    Due to my committment to assist Jerry Blackstone and Steve Blumling on the Aug. 4th circumnavigation of Manhattan, I will not be able to lead my annual trip to Popolopen as it occurs on the same date.
    However, I do plan to drive up after the circ. to launch from the Annsville Paddlesport Center to see the fireworks. I invite all on the circ. to do the same if they wish.
    This trip has been a 7 year happening and with that in mind, I would like to have someone else take over leading the trip to Popolopen in the afternoon. I will assist that person with all pertinent information. I would prefer someone who has done the trip before, but that is not necessary as long as he or she is a good responsible leader.
