thanks Gerry.
Interesting I was there on Saturday also, just
scouting out the area. I saw a green car with rack on
it and figured someone had launched from there.
OK, so while there are plenty of docks and even a
floating dock, there did not seem to be any "official"
recognition of kayakers/canoests being able to use the
docks. The office was closed so I could not ask
anyone. The gates to the docks were locked and had a
sign saying something like "for boat owners and permit
holders only" of course since I own my own kayak and
it is considered a boat I guess I can pass and just
throw it over the gate (it's only like 3 - 4 ft high)
and then climb it myself. QT - Did someone offical
tell you it's ok to land/climb the gate during the
weekend but NOT during the week? Please clairify for
the rest of us.
Thanks !
