NYCkayaker 2007 Poker Run Saturday June 16th

FYI - there are kayaking and swimming events on the NY waterways this
weekend.  There is also a large power boat event to be aware of. The 2007
Poker Run (the really big, really noisy cigerettee boats) will take place on
Saturday June 16.  There is basically a race from the GWB to the TappenZee
Bridge at Noon with boats traveling well in excess of 100 MPH. Most of this
will take place towards the westren side of the River. Nevertheless there
will be alot of powerboats on the river.
