NYCkayaker Costa Brava--Cadaqués

I'm going to be  northern Spain on the Costa Brava next month with a folding
kayak and would appreciate any info on local conditions particularly around
L'Escala, Roses, and Cadaqués.  I speak Spanish (not Catalan) but have never
paddled outside U.S. waters.  There's also a small possibility of a day on
