NYCkayaker Local NY paddlers clean up in the Metedeconk Race

Hello NY paddling friends,The Metedeconk River Run held this past
Sunday June 17th was a big success for local NY paddlers.Bill Bergeron
won the FAST TOURING division with with a 1:06:17 for this 7 mile course. This
is a full 5 minutes faster than his 2nd place finisher.

A surprise finisher was Anthony Tramontano with a 5th
place slot in the larger TOURING class with a 1:19:18...A very strong finish for
this Mayor's Cup racer!!The overall winner was the local NJ favorite Craig
Impens with a scorching 54:53 time on his Epic V10 surf ski.Other NY
paddlers Glen Jabkowski took 3rd overall with a fast 57:05 time and the top
female finisher Orlova Chaze turned in a 1:23:30.Get ready for the Bear
