Now THAT's my kind of POWER BOAT race!!!
And great that NYO has found a way to launch (legally) at the brooklyn
bridge beach--someone someplace high up sees that its safe enough for
paddlers, i guess.
Congratulations, NYO, for pulling this off, despite the club's not having a
home base since pier 63 closed last September.
We hope their new home at pier 66 (which they'll share with Manhattan Kayak
Co, the Hudson River Paddlers' Guild, and NY Kayak Polo), will be open very
soon.
