NYCkayaker Parks & Recreation Plans to Create a NYC Water Trail-Volunteers Wanted

Thanks for the update on launch sites.  What the Parks Department seems to have done to reach the number 18 was to add make their and other various marinas designated as launch sites (previously only 79th St in Manhattan and the one in Bayside were so designated) and added the numerous sites run by the Downtown Boathouse as well as the Sebago Canoe Club.  In addition several other locations such as the Salt Marsh Nature Center was added.

I wonder if all of those additional spots have official NYC Parks launch site signs.  Also what has happened to the NYC Parks Department canoe/kayak launch permits that one gets from the park offices in the five boros.
