Further info re advisory council meeting tonight - straight from Noreen. NYO folks, info is on my blog today after a whole batch of sailing pictures from the weekend - www.frogma.blogspot.com 

She also added clarification that she couldn't send the agenda earlier because the Advisory Council sets that - I knew that & should have clarified that myself!  

Noreen's words from there:
...In any case, I see that the agenda tonight does include an update on the Pier 63 DEC permit.

Since John Krevey is the applicant, he may have more information from DEC than the Trust does – our response is the same as it has been for months:  We’re on written record since the summer as not opposing kayak storage on the relocated barge, and we’ve committed to meeting the community board, John Krevey and other interested parties on Pier 66 once the barge relocates and the Pier 66 boathouse operator is selected (we’re still reviewing the RFP responses) to see how everything looks in relationship to each other before weighing in on the launching issue there.
