NYCkayaker Paddling certification needed

Hi all,

I have an adventure race coming up soon that requires a certification for
open water kayaking skills including rescue techniques such as wet exits,
re-entries and T-rescues.  The certification form does not require that the
instructor have any formal designations, but asks to list the instructor's
qualifications.

Do any of you know someone locally that can do this for me?  I live in NYC
(and don't have my own kayak) but can bike or take the train to anywhere
reasonably close to get this done.  I would need to get this done in the
next week, preferably this Sunday.
