NYCkayaker Pier 40 Development

For people who are interested in getting first hand information about 
the Performing Arts Center development proposal for Pier 40, 
representatives from Related Companies have scheduled two presentations 
with time for questions and answers. At 11AM on Sunday, May 20, they 
will be discussing the latest edition of their proposal at Biz Kids, on 
the south side of Pier 40. They share the same entrance as New York 
Kayak Co.: <http://nykayak.com/Pages/condirect.html>. On Monday, May 
21st, they will be having another open meeting at The Jazz Gallery, 290 
Hudson Street, 2nd floor (between Spring and Dominick Streets).

If I hear of a similar offer from the Urban Dove "People's Pier" 
proposal, I'll pass that information along, too.

I'll be attending the meeting at Biz Kids, and I would enjoy meeting 
with boaters to discuss the impact of development on Pier 40 boating 
afterwards.
