NYCkayaker Full Moon paddle

Yes...it's true...
 
Saturday's full moon paddle will only be for the really alert....and  
wide-awake........
 
Moonrise over Cold Spring will be about 11:15PM...a Waning Gibbous  
Moon...98% full...
 
If you launch from Foundry Dock Park next to the Metro North station  parking 
lot, beware of the midnight skulkers adrift on the Hudson River...they  
usually come down from Storm King Mountain to laugh, sing and yodel as they  
slip/slide across to the other side....and back again before dawn...leaving in  
their wakes intimate knowledge of impermanence to those able to hear.
