NYCkayaker Boat storage possibilities in Yonkers

Hi All-

We may be able to offer boat storage at a facility
being built by the City of Yonkers up at Kennedy
Marina, on the Hudson river in Yonkers. This would be
in a secure building, with the individual boats being
locked by their owners. There is a boat launching ramp
to serve as the put-in. Plans may be for a dock system
too.

We would be interested in finding out what the
interest is in this, so if you feel you would like to

Look at this as a little bit of market research...

Kennedy Marina is behind the Hudson River Museum,
right on the water. You would have access from Metro
North (Glenwood station) as well as surface roads, so
it might be of value for paddlers from NYC as well as
Westchester. 

With the cost and avaiablilty of storage being what it
is, we hope that this facility would be of value to
paddlers in the lower Hudson area.
