NYCkayaker Movie you might enjoy

There's a movie showing at the Angelika Film Center today (Wednesday 9/12) and tomorrow (Thursday 9/13) that I thought folks might enjoy. It's called Deep Water & it's about Donald Crowhurst's participation in the first ever non-stop singlehanded around-the-world yacht race, held in the late 1960's. The winner, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, is still alive & well & running an around-the-world race of his own. Donald Crowhurst's tale, though, is one that I find to be one of the spookier stories in yacht racing.
