NYCkayaker Races "vs." Swims

As one who has been involved with kayak support for the past 4 years I 
have never seen CG interference with any of our races. They have always 
been courteous and helpful. Their weapons are intimidating but they are 
not trained on us. At times some individual CG personnel may get 
officious but that is why we must talk to them.
A dialog with the CG is called for to clear up some obvious misperceptions.
