This sounds like a real great deal. What Gerry doesn't mention is how nice
the paddling is along that stretch of the river with the long extent of the
Palisades across from the site running almost a 10 mile stretch. The
scenery along that shoreline is breathtaking.

Being so close to the train station means it is good for those who don't
have or do not want to use a car to access their boat storage. On the flip
side of the coin, other storage sites along the river from the Battery
through to Westchester are difficult to drive up to and/or park. Price
seems right as well.

A question: Is the launch site and parking also free to day visitors who
are not storing boats on site? Or is there a fee or permit format?
