Branford (WTNH) _ Many were calling it an environmental hazard and a
potential terrorist target. Both sides of The Long Island Sound are united
against Project Broadwater. The energy terminal would have sat four football
fields long, right in the middle of the Sound.

At Birbarie Marine, in Branford, people are getting their boats ready for
the summer season and celebrating New York state's decision to 'deep-six'
the Broadwater Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal. "It's done, forget about it,
use your boat," Skip Birbarie, of Birbarie Marine, suggested.....
