NYCkayaker NYC Water Trail Google Group

Hello,

I have set up a NYC Water Trail Google Group for use by executives of
boathouses and boating groups. It is not a policy discussion forum at this
time, and I will leave entirely to others its possible evolution into such.
This is a purely practical tool -- a place for coordinating boat and
gear purchases, safety training, and posting needed documents and
information.

Its first application is a group boat purchase for 501(c)3 nonprofits
(**This purchase is open exclusively to nonprofit harbor boating groups --
no individual paddlers or purchases leading to individual ownership allowed
in any fashion!**) that will be filed by Friday.

NYCWT Google Group members must be currently serving executives of
boathouses/boating groups or leading the formation of boating groups that
are adequately recognized by the existing community. Private outfitters are
also welcome, as they play a key role in our safety culture and sustainable
presence on the harbor.

Please submit your interest to me and I will add your address to the
membership. Also, please understand that I will be happy to turn
administration or the group to others -- I just took the initiative to start
it.
