NYCkayaker Brooklyn Bridge Waterfall this Summer

Gonna be the next Frogma post whenever I get to it (too many reports due to take a blogging lunch break, besides the dog's too cute to go just yet). That & Broadwater (sigh) ( http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/12/nyregion/12gas.html?scp=1&sq=broadwater )

I kinda choked on the comment the artist made that the Times quoted in their article - 

"“Throughout history we have always taken water for granted"...

Maybe in the more recent past, in first-world developed countries where we walk into the kitchen, turn a tap et voila, a fresh clean drink.

But historically...um...really?

Sorry, just being cranky. The project sounds like fun, though.
