Yes, and please add two more:
*The Riverpool swim from Newburgh to Beacon on August 3rd at 9:30am. A one mile swim with a good cause and good instructions for the kayakers.
*The three mile swim across the Hudson in September by Leukemia and Lymphoma from Nyack to Sleepy Hollow. A fun event, good cause, not-so-early start, good parking, good food, good instructions and the record-breaker for the most kayaks on the river, at an event, at one time!
And if people can't kayak for these events, there are always volunteering possibilities.
