NYCkayaker Swim Organizers Unsafe? Was: Blacklisted

If there are safety concerns, particularly huge ones, why not make the kayakers on
this list aware of what they are--specifically and in sufficient detail for them to
evaluate the situation?    

I'm pretty darn sure the Coast Guard would require no less.    So far I've read a
great deal of complaining, but have yet to read a single example of these alleged
safety issues.   Bonnie brought something up, but more detail is required about that
"barge incident" to determine whose fault it was and if the swim organizers
deliberately disregarded an issue the kayakers advised them about.
