How long would it typically take to paddle from Valentino Pier in Red Hook to Pier 40 and and back? I make that out to be about 5 miles each way. How about from Red Hook to Pier 56 and back. That looks to me to be about 8 miles each way. What would the typical window for such a trip relative to the tides? TomBk
