Hi Zhennya,
The numbers also probably have to be put into some kind of perspective and
context. How many one-timers are there that just try out a kayak and stay
within a protected bay or a protected berth?? And how often do some paddlers
go out on the Hudson? where and for how long or how many miles? How many
support swimmers. Just sheer numbers of people don't really tell me much.
Obviously there is a need to know and it the numbers could lead to more
access.... Although I personally think that more access will lead to more
numbers....
