NYCkayaker Great Hudson River Paddle coming to Yonkers this weekend - (or they'd prefer to be left alone?)

The people that paddle in the GHRP are mostly loners and vagrant river drifters that really just keep to themselves and don't even like other people. They wouldn't really want anyone coming out to meet them after a ten day paddle along a hundred and fifty miles of river. I wouldn't really bother them at all if I were you. They might even be dangerous, bi-polar, homicidal or even suicidal. They might all poison themselves and be dead before we even get there to meet them just knowing we were coming.

I believe the GHRP gang will be spending Saturday evening somewhere in Yonkers. Does anyone know where exactly? Are there plan to paddle out to "welcome" them? Or is this mostly a "non-event"? (or they'd prefer to be left alone?)
