Clifford
On *Sunday, September 7th* join us for *The Hudson River Swim
For Life*. This is a 3.1 mile swim from Sleepy Hollow, NY to Nyack,
NY. This year there will also be a 1-mile swim option along the
shores of Sleepy Hollow. Swimmers will conquer the river in the
shadow of the Tappan Zee Bridge, as kayakers and boaters assist them
for safety. Last year there were 250 swimmers in the water who
raised just over $200,000. This year we are expecting over 450
individuals to participate and an audience of over 4,000 to attend
the day long event in the park.
The Hudson River Swim For Life was created to raise awareness of
the Hudson River, promote swimming as a life long form of fitness,
and raise funds for the ongoing work of The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society, in conjunction with Friends of Claire, a non-profit raising
funds for ALS.
Kayakers are essential in the success of our event. Please visit
our website, www.hudsonriverswim.org

register to help. *Feel free to contact Diandra Kodl with any
questions, (914) 949-0084, ext. 8993*.
