NYCkayaker ...Adirondack Paddle/Camping Trip 8/28-9/1

8/28-9/1,five of us are doing a 41 mile trip from Long Lake, north down "flows north" the Raquette River. Explore the Cold River which enters the Raquette just north of Long Lake, then back down the Raquette River and a 1.3 mile carry around the falls.  Everyone will help get the kayaks around the falls "a well used trail". Then continue to Tupper Lake.
This trip is for experienced paddlers/campers with their own gear, kayak, and supplies. for 5 days, 4 nights.  Cost will depend on carpooling and a possible shuttle.  The shuttle is about 30 minutes, 21 miles between the state ramps at Long Lake and Tupper.  Possibly use www.raquetteriveroutfitters.com at a cost of $65 for the first kayak, $25 for each extra kayak. If we don't do our own shuttle.  I Have room for 5 more people on my permit.  First come, first served!  I will be away from my computer until July 29 and will respond to any mail when I get back.
