Hi Colin,

I don't know the Pac Boat but it sounds like an ideal boat for taking on a visit to Block Island in September.  My suggestion though would be to save the paddling for from the Island or in the large harbor  and do the crossings from Pt. Judith on the High-Speed Ferry 866 783 7996 or the traditional ferry from Newport. blockislandferry.com.
