NYCkayaker Mysterious Black Skimmers and the Wildwire

Hi All,

Just thought you might also be intrigued by the ocean and estuary bird, a
black skimmer, that's a nocturnal visitor to Central Park. Is it flying in
from the Rockaways or did it stealthily nest atop a rooftop nearby?

Also, as usual, a zillion free outdoor recreational opportunities (many from
our regular allies, like Sebago, Downtown Boathouse, and Gowanus Dredgers)
in the WildWire.
