For the first time in a long time, I am really proud of my country.   

Hopefully, defeating unconstitutional NYC gun laws will soon follow.  Then maybe, it
will be easier for kayakers to be licenced to carry scatterguns so that jet skiers
and pirates et al won't be able to threaten kayakers' lives with virtual impunity.
