I hate to be the one to break the amazement, (and I hope I'm wrong) but
those photos appear to be extremely fallacious. The Daily Mail is known for
its sensational content... These photos unfortunately appear to be all out
of proportion to the size of the whale and the kayakers. In my opinion, the
photos of the kayakers and whales appear to be taken from different photos
and digitally re-mastered. Also, the water is much too calm and the
background is nearly the same on all pics. And in one of the photos, the
shadows on the kayakers and on the whale appear to be coming from different
angles. (Now take a look at poor Lisa Marie Presley to the right of the
whale article.... She appears to be a beached whale - but that photo is
probably digitally manipulated also....)
There was an apparently a similar fake photo early last year (if my memory
serves me well) of a swimmer and a whale in national geographic that caused
a stir...
