NYCkayaker Great event for Watertrail opening

Hi Everyone,
We had a great event down in Red Hook today for the NYC Watertrail
opening. Commissioner Benepe, Commissioner Lewandowski, and a host of
other big-wigs from the State Parks, State Greenway, and many other
waterfront groups.
I think it was about 10 boats, 60 people. For a cold rainy day before the
season started that's really good.
Thanks to all the organizations who sent people. My friend Jonathan got
great pictures, I'll post them soon.

The printed map on waterproof paper is great too. Look for one at local
outfitters and boathouses.
Be sure to apply for a permit to show the city your support, you can do it
by mail. Please use the official parks department docs, not the outdated
ones on DTBH or RHB websites:
