I know as a diver that seals can be very playful. Diving in the kelp
forests off of the channel islands, they will come over and swim loops
in your bubbles, and even come right up to your mask and bark in your
face. Just make sure to keep clear of the pups and the bulls. They do
have very sharp teeth.
