NYCkayaker Marine Supply Stores in NYC Area?

Hello:

I need to replace the rudder fittings on my rowing and
sailing boat.

Can anyone recommend marine supply stores in the NYC
area reachable by public transportation?

I would like a LARGE selection of materials. Defender
Industries is great, but they are hard to get to since
they moved to the boondocks of Connecticut.
